As women, we are bombarded with conflicting messages regarding how we should be showing up to our lives. While men can easily get trapped by a singular dictate to not be vulnerable, women are prone to getting stuck in a confusing labyrinth of opposing expectations (you should work but your children will be scarred from daycare; you should breastfeed but make sure you don’t do so in public, you should have a voice but don’t use it loudly, etc.). The inner critic loves this reality because it can keep women stuck in feeling “not enough” and with no good place to turn.
In my work with women, we address these inner critic experiences so that they can step into greater authenticity and joy. We also explore the skills necessary to lead more wholehearted and balanced lives.
I work with women individually as well as in couples and in groups. Please contact me to discuss which option might be best for you at this time.
